Joshua Watts | Published Friday, March 03, 2017 | Last modified Wednesday, May 29, 2019

The CHIME ABM explores information distribution networks and agents’ protective decision making in the context of hurricane landfall.

Alternative Fuel Design/Consumer Choice Model

Rosanna Garcia | Published Wednesday, September 22, 2010 | Last modified Saturday, April 27, 2013

This is a model of the diffusion of alternative fuel vehicles based on manufacturer designs and consumer choices of those designs. It is written in Netlogo 4.0.3. Because it requires data to upload

Peer reviewed ana-wag

Géraldine Abrami Mamadou Diallo Stefano Farolfi Bruno Bonté Nils Ferrand Wanda Aquae Gaudi | Published Monday, February 13, 2017 | Last modified Friday, May 10, 2019

The ana-wag model, for Analyse Wat-A-Game (WAG), is a NetLogo version of the WAG role playing game. It enables to model a river catchment with the graphical modelling language WAG and to play it as a network-game (each player is a water user).

This agent-based model simulates the implementation of a Transfer of Development Rights (TDR) mechanism in a stylized urban environment inspired by Dublin. It explores how developer agents interact with land parcels under spatial zoning, conservation protections, and incentive-based policy rules. The model captures emergent outcomes such as compact growth, green and heritage zone preservation, and public cost-efficiency. Built in NetLogo, the model enables experimentation with variable FSI bonuses, developer behavior, and spatial alignment of sending/receiving zones. It is intended as a policy sandbox to test market-aligned planning tools under behavioral and spatial uncertainty.

Tram Commute

Julia Kasmire | Published Thursday, February 13, 2020 | Last modified Monday, March 02, 2020

A demonstration model showing how modellers can create a multi regional tram network with commuters, destinations and houses. The model offers options to create a random tram network made from modeller input or to load shapefiles for the Greater Manchester Metrolink.

The model uses NetLogo with gis, nw an csv extensions.

This NetLogo model simulates the spread of climate change beliefs within a population of individuals. Each believer has an initial belief level, which changes over time due to interactions with other individuals and exposure to media. The aim of the model is to identify possible methods for reducing climate change denial.

Peer reviewed Dawkins Weasel

Kristin Crouse | Published Thursday, February 08, 2018 | Last modified Tuesday, February 04, 2020

Dawkins’ Weasel is a NetLogo model that illustrates the principle of evolution by natural selection. It is inspired by a thought experiment presented by Richard Dawkins in his book The Blind Watchmaker (1996).

NetLogo agent-based model to simulate the transmission of COVID-19 in a university dormitory. User can set the number of initial students, buildings, floors, rooms, number of initially infected, and transmission rate. They can also test the effect of masks, sanitizations, elevator allowance, and visits on the effect of the SEIR curve.
