In the mentioned context, the Life-Cycle Thinking for Complex-Systems Initiative brings a webinar in which we will have three presentations that are meant to provide an introductory view of the characteristics, benefits, and challenges of using ABM as a complexity-oriented approach in combination with LCA. The presentations will be given by three experienced researchers in the field:
A 2-week training course to gain a modelling culture and learn the different skills required for building agent-based models (ABM) applied to sociological, ecological or socio-ecological systems, with a focus on participatory modelling
This workshop introduces agent-based modeling, a method for understanding complex social dynamics by simulating interactions among individual agents. Agent-based modeling allows observing social patterns in computer simulations, enabling students to specify rules for agent behavior. The workshop teaches NetLogo for creating models, enabling students to design, analyze, and visualize social dynamics, incorporating empirical data using statistical tools like R or Python.
The 17th International Conference on Social Computing, Behavioral-Cultural Modeling, & Prediction and Behavior Representation in Modeling and Simulation will be held on September 18-20, 2024. Submissions for paper are due 21st July 2024.
The 23rd International Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems (AAMAS 2024) is to be held in Auckland, New Zealand, on May 6-10, 2024.
Registration is now open, and early registration ends on April 11, 2024 (details below).

This five-day course will introduce the principles and practice of agent-based modelling. Participants will learn how to design, implement, and evaluate ABMs that are relevant to their own fields of research and teaching. The workshop includes introductory instruction in NetLogo, a popular and powerful software platform and programming language specifically for ABMs.
First of seven workshops aimed at developing good practices and recommendations for improving metadata in computational model-sharing and publishing platforms - Hosted by ModelShare and the Open Modeling Foundation
Invitation to demonstrate your latest developments in agent-based software and robotic systems at the 23rd International Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems (AAMAS 2024) to be held in Auckland, New Zealand, on May 6-10, 2024.
Intelligent Systems Conference 2024 is on February 1st 2024,
Invitation to contribute to the stream “Agent-based models in management, economic and organization sciences” at the EURO 33rd Annual Conference, scheduled for June 30 to July 4, 2024, in Copenhagen, Denmark.
