The GeoSim ’18 workshop focuses on all aspects of simulation as a general paradigm to model and predict spatial systems and generate spatial data. New simulation methodologies and frameworks, not necessarily coming from the SIGSPATIAL community, are encouraged to participate. Community talks and posters that explore broad topics of interoperability, preservation, data discovery, reproducible research and sustainability are invited.

Spring 2018’s Complexity Challenge will be an updated and more sophisticated take on a classic SFI Optimization problem.
