My interests is always on the dynamic interactions of human and their habitat (nature/built environment, etc.). At the moment my researches focus on the political-ecology analysis of human-nature interactions and social-ecological systems analysis. I am interested in using Agent-Based Model to support my works. I have been using ABM for quite some years, although not putting too much focus on it at the moment.
My research focuses on pastoral systems. I examine how pastoralists adapt to changing ecological, political and institutional conditions that affect their lives and livelihoods. I have been conducting research with pastoralists in the Far North Region of Cameroon since 1993. The long-term research has allowed me to develop innovative, interdisciplinary research projects with colleagues at the Ohio State University and the University of Maroua in Cameroon. Check out my website for more information about my research, teaching, and other scholarly activities: http://mlab.osu.edu

I am a multidisciplinary researcher and artist. I have worked as a global health researcher since 2015, studying malaria prevention and control, medical entomology, and epidemiology. I am a Ph.D candidate at the University of Montreal’s School of Public Health. For my doctoral research, I deploy complex systems methodologies and frameworks from Science, Technology and Society to examine the processes of health systems strengthening in vulnerable populations
My work explores the political economy of disease prevention and control (global health), the political ecology of the intersections between human, animal and ecosystem health (planetary health), and how complimentary expertises can be mobilized to effectively improve the well-being of underserved and remote communities sustainably through participatory processes (transdisciplinary, community-based research).
