This model is an agent-based model of common pool resource (CPR) management to test hypotheses that were previously generated through the historical dataset. The ABM simulates the emergence of institutions for the management and use of CPRs.

This model is an extension of an existing, empirically validated, agent-based model of the emergence of institutions for the management and use of CPRs (Ghorbani et al. 2017).
