22nd International Conference on Principles and Practice in Multi-Agent Systems, PRIMA

22nd International Conference on Principles and Practice in Multi-Agent Systems, PRIMA;

October 28th – October 31st 2019; Torino, Italy

PRIMA is a computer‐science conference with a focus on multi-agent systems and a long tradition in social-scientific research, in particular work on cooperation and coordination, norm formation, trust and reputation, learning, emergence, negotiations, coalition formation, voting, markets, pedestrian dynamics, and dynamics of and in networks. These topics are typically studied with methods from game theory, social simulation, agent-based modeling, complexity science, and formal logic. There is also strong interest in empirical research in the field and the laboratory.

In order to further intensify interaction with the social sciences and the emerging field of computational social science, PRIMA successfully launched a social-science track in 2016.

In order to attract submissions from social scientists, who typically do not target publications in computer-science conference proceedings, papers accepted in the social-science track will not be published in the conference proceedings, but authors will be offered a fast-track submission (same reviewers, fast handling) to JASSS, the Journal of Artificial Societies and Social Simulation (http://jasss.soc.surrey.ac.uk/).

This year, PRIMA will be hosted in the beautiful city of Turin (Italy), at the historical Rectory building (Palazzo del Rettorato) of the University of Torino. We are looking forward to seeing you at this very special venue.
