Call for Participation: Policy Modelling Workshop
POLICY MODELLING IN PRACTICE

The Centre for Research in Social Simulation (CRESS) at the University of Surrey invites presentations for a one day workshop on the topic of Policy Modelling.
Motivation
The use of social simulation to address policy questions has strong intuitive appeal to researchers and policy makers, but also faces considerable challenges and misconceptions. This workshop will aim to explore the approaches, experiences and outcomes of the use of social simulation in policy making contexts. The objective is to reflect on the realities of engaging with policy makers, rather than to describe model specifications in detail. Participation by both researchers and practitioners is encouraged.
Suggested topics for presentations could include, but are not limited to:

Abstracts (no more than 300 words) of presentations should be sent to [email protected]. Accepted speakers will be given approx 20 minutes presentation time.
