The BESTMAP Summer School includes an introduction to different modelling approaches such as agent-based modelling, biodiversity/species distribution modelling, and ecosystem services modelling (both provisioning and regulating ecosystem services). Participants will learn through practical, interactive exercises and get hands-on experience with specific models by applying them to real-world data from BESTMAP case studies.

The event is free of charge but participants are required to cover their travel and accommodation expenses. Travel awards are available.
