Modeling and simulation of future impacts of information and communication technologies on environmental sustainability using agent based modeling and system dynamics
My main research interests are the theoretical and experimental analysis of the dynamics of social networks, in relation to problems of cooperation and conflict.
Three fields interest me in research: the study of market from a behavioral point of view, focusing on loyalty, trust, quality convention; then the study of institutions, their dynamics and the predictions/diagnostics that can be made following Ostrom’s IAD framework; eventually discussions on epistemology and validation about ABM.
Annie Waldherr is a postdoctoral researcher at the Free University of Berlin, Institute for Media and Communication Studies. In 2012, she received her PhD for her dissertation on the dynamics of media attention. Her research interests include modeling public spheres, political online communication as well as science and technology discourses.
