An agent-based framework that aggregates social network-level individual interactions to run targeting and rewarding programs for a freemium social app. Git source code in https://bitbucket.org/mchserrano/socialdynamicsfreemiumapps

This simulation model is to simulate the emergence of technological innovation processes from the hypercycles perspective.

9 Maturity levels in Empirical Validation - An innovation diffusion example

Martin Rixin | Published Wed Oct 19 13:42:28 2011 | Last modified Sat Apr 27 20:18:17 2013

Several taxonomies for empirical validation have been published. Our model integrates different methods to calibrate an innovation diffusion model, ranging from simple randomized input validation to complex calibration with the use of microdata.

Model to assess factors that influence local communities compliance with protected areas policies

Gustavo Andrade | Published Mon Nov 21 05:50:54 2011 | Last modified Sat Apr 27 20:18:40 2013

We built a model using R,polr package, to assess 55 published case studies from developing countries to determine what factors influence the level of compliance of local communities with protected area regulations.

Homing pigeon model

Gudrun Wallentin | Published Sat Oct 29 18:35:49 2016

This model represents the flight paths of a flock of homing pigeons according to their flocking-, orientation- and leadership behaviour.

Biobehavioral interactions between two populations under different movement strategies.

Income and Expenditure

Tony Lawson | Published Thu Oct 6 13:52:24 2011 | Last modified Sat Apr 27 20:18:34 2013

How do households alter their spending patterns when they experience changes in income? This model answers this question using a random assignment scheme where spending patterns are copied from a household in the new income bracket.

Societal Simulator v203

Tim Gooding | Published Tue Oct 1 16:26:54 2013 | Last modified Fri Nov 28 13:15:02 2014

Designed to capture the evolutionary forces of global society.

Objective is to simulate policy interventions in an integrated demand-supply model. The underlying demand function links both sides. Diffusion proceeds if interactions distribute awareness (Epidemic effect) and rivalry reduces the market price (Probit effect). Endogeneity is given due to the fact that consumer awareness as well as their willingness-to-pay drives supply-side rivalry. FirmĀ“s entry and exit decisions as well as quantity and price settings are driven by Cournot competition.

ABODE - Agent Based Model of Origin Destination Estimation

D Levinson | Published Mon Aug 29 18:01:08 2011 | Last modified Sat Apr 27 20:18:19 2013

The agent based model matches origins and destinations using employment search methods at the individual level.
