Alpine land-use allocation model - ALUAM-AB

Simon Briner | Published Tue Jan 31 08:19:13 2012 | Last modified Sat Apr 27 20:18:21 2013

A model for simulating farmers and foresters response on changing climate and changing socio-economic parameters. Modeled are changes in land-use as well as in ecosystem services provision.

This generic model simulates climate change adaptation in the form of resistance, accommodation, and retreat in coastal regions vulnerable to sea level rise and flooding. It tracks how population changes as households retreat to higher ground.

TechNet_04: Cultural Transmission in a Spatially-Situated Network

Andrew White | Published Mon Oct 8 19:36:07 2012 | Last modified Sat Apr 27 20:18:48 2013

The TechNet_04 is an abstract model that embeds a simple cultural tranmission process in an environment where interaction is structured by spatially-situated networks.

The Groundwater Commons Game

Juan Carlos Castilla-Rho Rodrigo Rojas | Published Thu May 11 13:04:53 2017 | Last modified Sat Sep 16 03:46:39 2017

The Groundwater Commons Game synthesises and extends existing work on human cooperation and collective action, to elucidate possible determinants and pathways to regulatory compliance in groundwater systems globally.

Fran├žois Rebaudo | Published Tue Feb 25 13:29:52 2014 | Last modified Wed Aug 27 08:03:22 2014

The purpose of the model is to explore the impacts of global change on the ability of a community of farmers to adapt their practices to an agricultural pest.

MayaSim: An agent-based model of the ancient Maya social-ecological system

Scott Heckbert | Published Wed Jul 11 19:55:24 2012 | Last modified Tue Jul 2 17:14:49 2013

MayaSim is an agent-based, cellular automata and network model of the ancient Maya. Biophysical and anthropogenic processes interact to grow a complex social ecological system.

CRESY-I stands for CREativity from a SYstems perspetive, Model I. This is the base model in a series designed to describe a systems approach to creativity in terms of variation, selection and retention (VSR) subprocesses.

EmergenceOfClimateMitigation

S Greeven | Published Mon Feb 29 09:40:56 2016

A theoretical model of the emergence of climate mitigation - a two-level game theoretic representation

Peer reviewed Pumpa irrigation model

Irene Perez Ibarra Marco Janssen | Published Wed Jan 9 22:09:40 2013 | Last modified Sat Apr 27 20:18:43 2013

This is a replication of the Pumpa model that simulates the Pumpa Irrigation System in Nepal (Cifdaloz et al., 2010).

RaMDry allows to study the dynamic use of forage ressources by herbivores in semi-arid savanna with an emphasis on effects of change of climate and management. Seasonal dynamics affects the amount and the nutritional values of the available forage.
